Over the past two days, I have blogged about involved and engaged people maintaining profiles on online dating websites, and asked for your feedback about it. Today, I want to cover another hot-button topic: married people on singles websites.
There are websites online that cater to married people who are seeking a little action on the side. That is not the topic of this post. This post is about people who are legally married joining sites geared towards singles.
For some people, married is married and it does not matter if the person in question is separated, legally separated, or if divorce papers have been filed. Until the divorce is final, he or she is married and should not be on a singles dating website.
To others, any one of the aforementioned scenarios is good enough to qualify a person as single and eligible to be on a singles dating website. Some qualify that with the fact it should be openly disclosed, while others think it is no one’s business unless the legally married person becomes seriously involved. Then, and only then, should the status be revealed (to the person he or she is involved with).
Today’s Question: What are YOUR thoughts about legally married people joining online dating websites for singles?
